Xin Guobin pointed out that, for the future, the world's manufacturing sector is still very strong complementarity, China should further deepen cooperation with other countries to promote the development of manufacturing. To this end, he put forward five suggestions:  
Deepen exchanges and cooperation. Based on the existing mechanisms for dialogue and exchanges and cooperation platform, promote research institutions and social organizations in the country concerned, Germany and the United States, Sweden and other enterprises, cooperative research, take a variety of forms to carry out industrial policies, technological innovation and product project etc.. Establish and improve cooperation mechanisms to seek opportunities for cooperation in the development of advanced manufacturing, traditional industries, intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing.  
Expand cooperation in key areas. The spirit of mutual benefit sharing, cooperation and win-win principle, and actively promote the pragmatic cooperation in high-end CNC machine tools and industrial robots, additive manufacturing equipment, intelligent sensing and control equipment, intelligent detection and assembly equipment, intelligent logistics and warehousing equipment, industrial Internet, software, power battery, intelligent network of automobile manufacturing industry in key areas.  
Strengthen standardization cooperation. To further improve the cooperation mechanism of intelligent manufacturing standards, to carry out exchanges and cooperation in the field of intelligent manufacturing industry associations, research institutes and enterprises, jointly promote smart manufacturing standardization work, to develop a number of common standards and to more countries and regions to promote, promote the third party service agencies in the evaluation and certification of the exchange, exchange and cooperation.  
Pilot demonstration experience exchange. Actively promote the sharing of information and opportunities to share, in order to carry out multilateral and bilateral cooperation in intelligent manufacturing to create good conditions. Give full play to their respective advantages, promote the discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing, network collaborative manufacturing, mass customization, remote operation and other aspects of the demonstration and promotion. At the same time, actively encourage the relevant state enterprises to participate in the pilot demonstration projects under the existing policy framework, the exchange of experience.  
Strengthen personnel training exchanges. The use of government visits, industry docking, academic exchanges, exhibitions, forums and other opportunities to promote multi (double) side of intelligent manufacturing policy makers, business managers and technical personnel to strengthen exchanges. In the exploration of intelligent manufacturing, green manufacturing, service-oriented manufacturing and other aspects of the training mode of communication, encourage university, occupation schools and training institutions and enterprises to strengthen exchanges and cooperation, such as construction and manufacturing industry training center for intelligent manufacturing development and cultivate more talents.  
10 years to build intelligent manufacturing support system
